Ready to put your mechanical skills to work in a stable, long-term role?

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join the maintenance team at a busy and growing food manufacturing facility in Raleigh, NSW. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced team with supportive leadership, a good site culture and plenty of variety across the plant.

What’s in it for you?

  • $58.78 per hour under the site’s EA and Individual Flexibility Agreement
  • Permanent/Ongoing opportunity
  • Based at a large food manufacturing facility in Raleigh
  • Work within an experienced and supportive maintenance team
  • Half-day Saturday included as part of the roster
  • Rotating weekend breakdown coverage shared between a team of four
  • Any breakdown call-outs are paid additionally
  • Stable, longer-term opportunity

Your day will include:

  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Working across fillers, bulk bag processing equipment and associated production machinery
  • Carrying out maintenance and repairs across a range of production equipment
  • Fault-finding and diagnosing mechanical issues
  • Supporting the smooth operation of production machinery
  • Working as part of a small and experienced maintenance team

What we’re looking for:

  • Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
  • Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing
  • Food, dairy, FMCG or similar production experience highly regarded
  • Strong fault-finding and breakdown skills
  • Reliable and comfortable working as part of a small maintenance team
  • Someone looking for a stable, longer-term opportunity

The person previously in this position was with the business for four years, and we’re looking for someone who can come in and become another long-term member of the team.
