BOILERMAKER / FABRICATOR – ORMEAU

💰 $55 per hour
📍 Ormeau, QLD
⏰ 7:00am–5:00pm or 6:00am–4:00pm
🔧 Full-time | Workshop Based

We are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Fabricator to join a busy workshop in Ormeau.

This is a hands-on fabrication role working with both steel and aluminium, completing fabrication, welding, fitting and general workshop duties.

About the role:

  • Fabricating and welding steel and aluminium components
  • MIG welding and general fabrication
  • Measuring, cutting, fitting and assembling materials
  • Reading and working from drawings where required
  • Grinding, drilling and finishing
  • Using workshop machinery and hand/power tools
  • Repair and modification work
  • General workshop duties and maintaining a safe work area

What we're looking for:

  • Trade-qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator preferred
  • Strong welding and fabrication experience
  • Experience working with steel
  • Aluminium fabrication/welding experience highly regarded
  • Ability to measure, cut, fit and weld accurately
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and safety-focused

💰 $50/hr
⏰ 7am–5pm or 6am–4pm
