This role offers excellent hourly rates, long workdays, and strong overtime opportunities throughout the duration of the project.

Pay Rates

• $60.00 per hour plus penalties
• Weekend work is required 

Workshop – Condell Park

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am – 3:00pm

On-Site – Lidcombe

• Expected shifts:
• 6:00am – 6:00pm
• 10–12 hour days
• Saturday and Sunday work required

Key Duties

• Mechanical fitting and installation works
• Stainless steel fabrication and TIG welding
• Welding stainless steel between 2mm–5mm
• Reading and interpreting drawings
• Working safely across workshop and live site environments

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Welder
• Strong TIG welding experience on stainless steel
• Ability to weld 2mm–5mm stainless steel to a high standard
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
• Reliable transport and strong work ethic
• Ability to work both independently and within a team

Highly Regarded

• Trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting, Fabrication, or Welding
• Experience with conveyor install desirable

We are currently seeking Trade Qualified Riggers (all levels of experience) for an upcoming dragline shutdown in Kingaroy running through until 6th June. This is a shutdown-based role supporting major maintenance works on dragline equipment within a mining environment. Candidates must be safety-focused, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced shutdown setting.

💰 Rates & Conditions

• $51 – $67 per hour (based on experience)
• Roster: 6:3 Rotating Day/Night Shift
• Accommodation and meals provided

📋 Mandatory Requirements

• Trade Qualified Rigger
• Current S11 Surface Mining Induction
• Valid Coal Board Medical

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Rigging and lifting operations on dragline components and associated structures
• Assisting with dragline shutdown maintenance activities including structural and mechanical works
• Supporting installation and removal of major components such as pins, ropes, and assemblies
• Working with cranes, lifting gear, chain blocks, and hoisting equipment

Industrial Maintenance Electrician – Beef Processing Facility 

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support the safe and efficient operation of a beef processing facility, including abattoir and processing areas. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and improving electrical and automated systems across the site to minimise downtime and ensure compliance with food safety and workplace regulations.

SHIFT COVER:  24th April - 27th April 

PAY: $65 - $75 Per Hour 

HOURS: 4am - 2:30pm 

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the facility
• Diagnose and repair faults on production equipment
• Support operation and maintenance of conveyor systems, sortation equipment, and packaging lines
• Conduct electrical installations, upgrades and modifications as required
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
• Work in wet, cold, and hygienic environments, including abattoir areas

Equipment & Systems Exposure

• Conveyor systems (belt, chain, overhead rail systems used in carcass handling)
• Motors, gearboxes and drives (including VSDs/soft starters)
• PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
• Sensors and instrumentation (limit switches, load cells, temperature probes)
• Pneumatic and hydraulic control systems (basic fault finding)
• Automated processing and packaging equipment
• Refrigeration plant interfaces (desirable exposure)

Skills & Experience

• Trade-qualified QLD Electrician
• Experience in similar food environment (Mandatory)
• Strong fault-finding skills in electrical and automated systems
• Experience with PLC fault finding (desirable)
• Familiarity with conveyors and automated production lines

• Experience in physically demanding environments (wet, cold, odour, biological materials)
