This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll be working across spare parts, customer support, purchasing, freight and inventory while helping keep customers informed and service operations running smoothly.

Your day will include:

• Preparing spare parts quotes and processing customer orders

• Liaising with customers, suppliers and service teams

• Managing purchasing, order follow-ups and back orders

• Coordinating freight quotations, bookings and tracking

• Keeping customers updated on order and delivery progress

• Processing payments as required

• Maintaining accurate customer and order information in the ERP system

• Assisting with stocktakes, inventory control and general warehouse duties

• Supporting the wider service and parts team with day-to-day requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in spare parts, customer service, service coordination or a similar role

• Experience with quoting, purchasing and order processing

• Previous exposure to freight, warehousing or inventory

• Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of workplace health and safety

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Confident communication and customer service skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook

• Current Australian Driver Licence

• Current Forklift Licence (LF)

• Dogging Licence (DG) – desirable

• Physically fit to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen

About the Role

Spectra Recruitment is currently seeking experienced, trade-qualified Mechanical Fitters to join an upcoming shutdown at a major meat processing facility in Beef City, near Toowoomba.

This is a short-term shutdown opportunity suited to Mechanical Fitters with strong maintenance, mechanical fitting and shutdown experience who are available for the full duration of the shutdown.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and shutdown works
• Inspect, repair, dismantle and reassemble mechanical equipment
• Complete preventative and corrective maintenance
• Work safely and efficiently within a fast-paced processing environment
• Follow site safety procedures and shutdown requirements
• Work effectively as part of a maintenance and shutdown team

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Mechanical Fitter trade qualification

About the Role

We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Forklift Operators/Labourers to join a busy recycling facility based in Yatala.

This is a hands-on position that combines forklift operation, recycling machinery operation, material handling and general labouring duties. The successful candidates will be comfortable working in a physical environment and happy to assist across different areas of the facility as required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move recyclable materials and products around the facility
• Load and unload recyclable products, materials, machinery and equipment
• Assist with the operation of recycling equipment and machinery
• Load and feed materials into recycling machinery as required
• Monitor recycling equipment and report any issues to supervisors
• Perform general manual labour and material handling duties
• Assist forklift operators and other team members as required
• Move and organise materials throughout the yard and processing areas
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and free from hazards
• Perform general housekeeping and yard maintenance
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Current LF Forklift Licence – Essential
• Previous forklift operating experience

• A willingness to perform general labouring and manual handling duties
• Comfortable working around machinery and in an outdoor/industrial environment
• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
