Timber Production Worker / Truss Assembler – Morningside
$33.38 – $35.15 per hour + Overtime Available
Are you experienced working with timber products, hand tools, power tools, or within a manufacturing environment?
We are currently seeking reliable Timber Production Workers to join a busy and well-established timber manufacturing facility in Morningside. This role involves the assembly of timber trusses used in residential and commercial flooring and roofing systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in timber manufacturing, truss and frame assembly, pallet manufacturing, sawmill operations, production assembly, or general manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling timber trusses for floor and roof systems
- Operating hand tools, power tools, nail guns, bandsaws, dropsaws, and other workshop equipment
- Measuring, positioning, and securing timber components
- Following production drawings and work instructions
- Performing manual handling and lifting duties
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
About You
- Previous experience in timber manufacturing, production assembly, pallet manufacturing, sawmill operations, or a similar environment is highly desirable
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 6:30am – 3:00pm
Friday: 6:30am – 12:30pm
Overtime is available and paid at penalty rates.
