HEAVY VEHICLE REPAIRER 

Location: Darra, Brisbane QLD

Pay: $45/hr + Overtime Opportunities

Work-Life Balance: 9-Day Fortnight (Every Second Friday OFF!)

Spectra Recruitment is looking for a skilled Heavy Vehicle Repairer / Boilermaker to join a leading industry team based in Darra. If you take serious pride in your work, know your way around tippers and love the sound of long weekends every fortnight—this one’s for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  •  Welding & Fabrication: Aluminium (MIG) & steel welding on tippers.
  •  Mechanical & Systems: Working with suspensions, air systems, and basic wiring.
  •  Hands-on Repairs: Floor removals/refitting and tarp repairs.
  •  Working autonomously in a fast-paced, supportive workshop.

What We’re Looking For:

  •  Experience: Solid background in heavy vehicle repairs (essential).
  •  Skills: Proficient in aluminium (MIG) & steel welding.
  •  Trade Quals: Boilermaking qualification or similar preferred (or equivalent solid hands-on experience).
  •  Mindset: Strong safety awareness (WHS competent), top-notch time management, and pride in clean, quality work.
