Boilermakers / Mechanical Fitters / Welders – Workshop & Shutdown Opportunities

$56 - $80 per hours

We are currently seeking experienced Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters, and Welders for a range of opportunities across both workshop-based roles and shutdown projects. These positions suit trade-qualified individuals looking for either stable, ongoing workshop employment with the potential to go permanent, or higher-paying short-term shutdown work with flexible project-based assignments.

Workshop Roles – Banyo, QLD

• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• Consistent full-time workshop hours
• Fabrication, fitting, maintenance, and assembly work
• Strong potential for permanent placement at $56/hour

Shutdown Opportunities – Various Locations

• Short-term project and shutdown work
• Day and night shifts available
• Competitive pay rates: $70 – $80/hour
• Allowances and accommodation may be provided depending on project

Pay Rates:

• Workshop (Temp to Perm): $56/hour
• Shutdowns: $70 – $80/hour + allowances

Key Responsibilities:

• Welding, fabrication, and mechanical fitting tasks
• Installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Working safely in both workshop and shutdown environments

Requirements:

• Relevant trade qualification
• Previous workshop and/or shutdown experience
• Competent in TIG and MIG welding
• Ability to work flexible hours, including 12-hour shifts on shutdowns
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
