BOILERMAKER – PERMANENT
$47–$62/HR + PENALTIES + $25/DAY TRAVEL ALLOWANCE + LAFHA WHEN WORKING AWAY
Introduction
Spectra Recruitment Pty Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join a well-established equipment and heavy industry business on a full-time permanent basis.
This is a primarily workshop-based position, with occasional travel required for specific jobs and projects.

Your New Role
- Fabrication and welding
- MIG, TIG and/or Stick welding
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Measuring, marking and cutting materials
- Fabricating and assembling steel components
- Repairs and maintenance
- Grinding, drilling and using hand and power tools
- General workshop fabrication
- Quality checking completed work
- Occasional travel to sites for specific jobs
The role is predominantly workshop based, with travel only required when specific jobs or projects call for it.
Who Are You?
- Boilermaker trade qualification or relevant experience
- Strong fabrication and welding skills
- Experience working with steel and/or heavy equipment
- Ability to read drawings and accurately measure and mark out
- Good understanding of fabrication processes
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel when required
Desirable Tickets & Requirements:
- White Card – desirable
