SPRAY PAINTER – PERMANENT
$47–$62/HR + PENALTIES + $25/DAY TRAVEL ALLOWANCE + LAFHA WHEN WORKING AWAY
Introduction
Spectra Recruitment Pty Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Spray Painter to join a well-established equipment and heavy industry business on a full-time permanent basis.
This is a primarily workshop-based position working in a professional spray painting environment, with occasional travel required for specific jobs and projects.

Your New Role
- Preparing surfaces for painting
- Sanding, grinding and cleaning
- Mixing paints, primers and coatings
- Spray painting equipment and components
- Applying primers, paints and protective coatings
- Completing quality checks and touch-ups
- Cleaning and maintaining spray equipment
- General workshop duties
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Occasional travel to sites for specific jobs
The role is predominantly workshop based, with travel only required when specific jobs or projects call for it.
Who Are You?
- Previous professional spray painting experience
- Experience working in a spray booth
- Strong surface preparation skills
- Experience mixing and applying paints and coatings
- High attention to detail
- Experience painting heavy equipment, machinery or vehicles highly regarded
- Strong safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel when required
Desirable Tickets & Requirements:
- White Card – desirable
