Electrician – Food Manufacturing

Location: Morningside, QLD
Pay Rate: $70 per hour
Roster: 3 days on / 3 days off
Shift: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join the maintenance team of a well-established food manufacturing facility in Morningside.

This is a great opportunity for an industrial electrician looking for a consistent 3 days on / 3 days off roster, 12-hour shifts and excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative and reactive electrical maintenance

• Electrical fault finding and breakdown repairs

• Maintenance of production and processing equipment

• Troubleshooting electrical faults

• Working with motors, sensors, conveyors and control systems

• Carrying out electrical repairs and modifications

• Supporting the production team to minimise downtime

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to required standards

About You

• Qualified Electrician with a current electrical licence QLD

• Previous industrial or food manufacturing experience

• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

• Experience working with production machinery

• Able to work independently and as part of a maintenance team

• Strong safety focus

• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts
