LABOURER / GANTRY CRANE OPERATIVE

THE JOB

Looking for a job where you can get stuck in, learn new skills and actually progress?

We’re looking for fit and reliable Labourers to join a busy precast concrete yard in Yatala.

You’ll start out doing general labouring and helping with the production of concrete products, with the opportunity to be trained to operate a gantry crane.

No previous gantry crane experience is required — full training will be provided.

This is a great opportunity for someone with labouring, construction, manufacturing or trade experience who wants to learn a new skill and work their way up.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• General labouring around the yard
• Helping set up, clean and strip concrete moulds
• Assisting with concrete pours and finishing
• Moving materials and products around the yard
• Loading and unloading materials
• Keeping the work area clean and organised
• Working alongside the production team
• Training to safely operate a gantry crane
• Following workplace safety procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Someone who isn't afraid of hard work
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
• Reliable and punctual
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Labouring, construction, manufacturing or trade experience is a bonus
• Comfortable working around heavy machinery
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Reliable transport to Yatala
