TRADE QUALIFIED RIGGERS (ALL LEVELS) 

$51 – $67

Location: Kingaroy, QLD
Project: Dragline Shutdown
Start: ASAP – Immediate mobilisation required

We are currently seeking Trade Qualified Riggers (all levels of experience) for an upcoming dragline shutdown in Kingaroy running through until 6th June. This is a shutdown-based role supporting major maintenance works on dragline equipment within a mining environment. Candidates must be safety-focused, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced shutdown setting.

💰 Rates & Conditions

  • $51 – $67 per hour (based on experience)
  • Roster: 6:3 Rotating Day/Night Shift
  • Accommodation and meals provided

📋 Mandatory Requirements

  • Trade Qualified Rigger
  • Current S11 Surface Mining Induction
  • Valid Coal Board Medical
  • Ability to mobilise immediately

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Rigging and lifting operations on dragline components and associated structures
  • Assisting with dragline shutdown maintenance activities including structural and mechanical works
  • Supporting installation and removal of major components such as pins, ropes, and assemblies
  • Working with cranes, lifting gear, chain blocks, and hoisting equipment
  • Assisting mechanical trades including fitters and boilermakers during shutdown works
  • Carrying out work in accordance with site safety systems, procedures, and SWMS
