Factory Hand – Wacol

Company Overview:
Spectra Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established manufacturing and distribution company seeking an experienced Warehouse Machine Operator/Storeperson to join their team in Wacol. Known for their strong safety culture and team environment, this business services the construction and industrial sectors and offers long-term opportunities for the right candidate.

Role Overview:
This is a hands-on role working across warehouse operations, including machine operation, loading/unloading, and customer interaction. You’ll play a key role in ensuring products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate overhead/gantry cranes and warehouse machinery safely and efficiently

• Load and unload trucks and customer vehicles

• Forklift operation (daily use)

• Assist customers with a professional and friendly approach

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace

• Follow and promote strict safety procedures

Mandatory Requirements – Please do not apply if you do not meet the below:

• Proven experience operating gantry cranes (essential)

• Current forklift licence (essential)

• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment

• Strong understanding of safe loading and unloading practices

To Be Successful:

• Reliable with a strong work ethic

• Safety-focused with good awareness of site procedures

• Able to work both independently and within a team

• Confident communicator

• Available for Monday–Friday work with early starts
