Yard Operations Foreman | Permanent Opportunity | Northern Gold Coast | Highly Competitive Salary + Super + Ute

Spectra Recruitment is looking for an experienced Yard Operations Foreman to join a well-established recycling and materials processing business on the Northern Gold Coast.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to keep a busy yard moving. You’ll be leading the team, coordinating plant and truck movements, monitoring production and jumping in when needed.

Your New Role

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the yard

• Lead and coordinate operators and labourers

• Manage crushing and screening operations

• Coordinate incoming materials and truck movements

• Monitor plant performance and troubleshoot issues

• Organise maintenance, servicing and repairs

• Complete plant inspections and pre-starts

• Maintain strong safety and site standards

• Operate machinery when required

Who You Are

• Experience within recycling, quarrying, crushing & screening, civil or heavy plant operations

• Previous supervisory or leading hand experience

• Good knowledge of crushers, screens, loaders and excavators

• Mechanically minded with basic fault-finding skills

• Confident leading a team and making decisions

• Organised, reliable and genuinely hands-on
