Truck & Trailer General Fitout Wanted!
Location: Darra, Brisbane QLD
Pay Rate: $45 / hour (Above award, commensurate with experience!)
Work Type: Full-Time | 9-Day Fortnight (Enjoy every second Friday off!)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client, an industry leader in heavy equipment manufacturing. They are looking for a skilled, trade-qualified professional who takes real pride in top-notch craftsmanship to join their Darra team.
If you like variety, working with your hands, and having a 3-day weekend every fortnight, this is the role for you!
What You’ll Be Doing
No boring assembly lines here. You’ll be taking rigs from bare metal to road-ready beasts:
- Welding: Steel & alloy MIG welding.
- Chassis & Body: Precision fitment of heavy-duty bodies to chassis.
- Hydraulics & Wiring: Installing and plumbing hydraulic systems + general auto-electrical wiring.
- Finishing Touches: Fitting tarps and ensuring every job meets the quality standard on time.
Must Have
- Trade Qualified: Relevant Trade Certificate is essential (Boilermaker / Welder / Fabricator or equivalent).
- Tools & Gear: Your own tool set and steel-cap boots.
- License: Valid Driver’s License.
- Blueprint Mindset: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Work Ethic: Strong problem-solving skills, safety-first (WHS) mindset, and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Pride in Quality: High attention to detail that aligns with the benchmark.
