$84,000 – $99,000 + Super + Bonus

Your New Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join the Accounts team on a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Accounts and Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of weekly payroll for approximately 400 employees, covering office, café, and manufacturing staff. You will also be involved in a variety of payroll-related reporting and assist with general accounting duties when required.
Key responsibilities include:

Full-function payroll processing on a weekly basis

Processing of daily timesheets

Reconciliation and reporting of payroll items (Super, Payroll Tax, CSA, WorkCover)

Handling payroll queries and providing support to employees

Supporting internal and external payroll administration and reporting

Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within payroll processes

Assisting with general accounts duties including AR, AP, and credit control
Who You Are
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Proven experience in high-volume payroll processing

Strong understanding of payroll functions, superannuation, and taxation

Experience with Employment Hero or similar payroll platforms (highly regarded)

Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
-
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

A positive and proactive attitude, aligned with company values

A current driver's licence and reliable transport
