HV Cable Joiner | HV Projects | Brisbane

📍 Hemmant + SEQ travel | Full Time
💰 $65–$70/hr + penalties | Company Vehicle | ETU Rates

Your New Company

Join a reliable, down-to-earth electrical contractor with consistent HV projects across SEQ and a supportive workshop base in Hemmant. You’ll work with Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients on a variety of substation, industrial, and infrastructure projects, with a team that values safety, practical know-how, and getting the job done right.

Your New Role

• HV cable jointing and terminations (11kV–33kV) across XLPE, PILC, paper lead
• Heat shrink, cold shrink, and resin jointing
• Testing, fault finding, and cable preparation
• Supporting shutdowns, upgrades, and new installations
• Reading HV cable drawings and ensuring quality outcomes on site

What You Need

✅ Electrical Trade Qualification (Cert III)
✅ HV Cable Jointing & Termination certifications
✅ Experience with Prysmian, Nexans, 3M, ABB, Tyco, Raychem kits
✅ White Card, CPR/LVR, Driver’s Licence
✅ HV Switching Ticket (highly regarded)
✅ Strong safety mindset and reliable work ethic
