Labourer – Yatala

Spectra Recruitment Pty Ltd is currently seeking a motivated Labourer to join our client's dynamic team in Yatala. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools and power tools in a fast-paced environment. The role offers full-time hours with plenty of overtime available at penalty rates.

Your New Role:
As a Labourer, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the factory. Your responsibilities will include:

• Equipment Inspection: Conducting pre-shift checks on all powered tools, ensuring they are in good working order and reporting any faults.

• Collaboration with Leadership: Working closely with the Foreman and Leading Hands to understand daily objectives and priorities.

• Quality Assurance: Ensuring all work meets quality standards and performing post-pour QA checks and inspections.

• Compliance & Safety: Strictly following health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

• General Factory Duties: Assisting in daily operations, housekeeping, and supporting other teams as needed to meet targets.

• Stock Management: Monitoring and reporting stock levels to the Foreman to ensure seamless operations.

• Communication: Maintaining clear communication with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks efficiently.

Who Are You?
To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Steel-fixing , concreting or foamwork experience (highly regarded but not essential).

• Familiarity with tools and power tools.

• A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• The ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Physical fitness and the ability to handle repetitive tasks.

• A strong understanding of workplace safety and compliance protocols.

Your Rewards:

• Competitive hourly rate of $32 per hour, depending on experience.

• Overtime available, paid at penalty rates.

• Early start 5:30 – 1:30pm
